Background: Born in Southern Italy, in the city of Maiori, his family moved to the United Kingdom when Blaise was 9 to improve his English, in preparation to his enrollment at Hogwarts. He attended Hogwarts because his father wanted Blaise close to Lucius Malfoy's son both for political gain, and as a sort of physical safety net. He still spends his summers in Italy, where his mother and father returned after he began his formal education. Born to supporters of Voldemort, Blaise's father is a death-eater, and he has been raised to follow in his footsteps.
Strengths: Blaise is bilingual, italian obviously being his first language. He does passably well in most classes, transfiguration being his best. He is a good strategist, and enjoys chess. He is a mediocre Quidditch player. He familiar with, and fond of, smaller bladed weapons. His background has given him a good understanding and education in unforgivable and Dark Arts, typical for Slytherin students.
Weaknesses: Blaise is not a people person. He is self-serving, manipulative, arrogant, and disrespectful. He serves his own purposes first and firmly believes that the ends justify the means. He is fully capable of nearly anything to save his own skin. He is paranoid and mistrusting to the point of being incapable of close friendships or romance under all but the most unusual of circumstances. He is also unemotional and often downright cold. He is intolerant of stupidity or ignorance, dismissing anyone he deems beneath his notice. . He dislikes animals, and animals dislike him, to the point of failing Care of Magical Creatures, badly, in spite of the class's reputation as a 'cake walk'.
