History:

Harry Potter is a half blood wizard - his father being pure-blood, his mother being muggle-born. When he was 1 year old Voldemort, a dark wizard, came and killed his parents. Harry’s mother died to protect him. Voldemort’s spell failed, and Voldemort was destroyed. Harry was left with a lightening bolt shaped scar on his forehead and became a legend.

Harry was sent to his mother’s sister and her husband to be raised. There he was raised as not only without magic but kept locked in a cubboard, dressed in his cousin’s (much) too big clothes, used as domestic labor and told his parents died in a car crash.

He found out the truth about their deaths when he was eleven and Hagrid appeared to take him to Hogwarts. From there he fought against Voldemort - more than once - learned about his parents and magic and the wizarding world, that he was expected to save that world and that anyone who tried to him him do that was going to die.

In the end he did it. He and Voldemort fought, Voldemort was destroyed and Harry survived - barely. Harry started training to be an Auror, but one day he just picked up and left. He didn’t want to fight for the wizarding world, anymore. It had taken everything from him and he just couldn’t make himself stay.

He got a job as a waiter, stayed in contact with Remus Lupin (his last connection to his family), and very occasionally ventures into Diagon (money) and otherwise stays out of the wizarding world. He found out about the Hunters when he was 21 and after 2 years of floating around, without ay sense of purpose or direction. With a lifetime of fighting in a magical arena already behind him, Harry took to it like a duck to water.
